Annual Football Alumni Golf Tournament & Dinner

I hope everyone and your families are all healthy and doing well.
This year’s annual football alumni golf tournament and dinner will be held on Friday, May 2 at the Easton C.C. Golf registration will begin at 11:30 with a shotgun start at 12:30, and dinner will follow with a cocktail hour at 6 and dinner at 7. Registration and payment for golf and dinner will be done on our website.
The cost is $175.00 which includes golf/cart, range balls, gift bag, and dinner. Registration for DINNER ONLY will be done on the university’s website. A notice from the university will be sent out soon. You do not need to register on both. The deadline to register is April 18. Discounted hotel rooms will be available again this year at:

Rates are studio $189.00 and one bedroom $199.00. The deadline to register for a hotel room is April 4.
This year’s honoree will be Coach Mazzaffero. I’m sure everyone is well aware of Coach’s accomplishments, sacrifices, time, energy and accolades during his 36 years as coach. He affected every one of us in one way or another during our playing years. For all those who either were or still are football coaches, I guarantee every one of us learned something about the game and coaching from coach. Coach will be turning 95 years old roughly a month after the event. This would be a great way for all of us to celebrate with him.
Also, at this year’s event Coach Verria will present the first Paul Melichareck Award. Paul was an outstanding defensive tackle who was a 2-year captain and a Division 3 All American. Unfortunately, Paul passed away recently.
All monies raised will go directly to help the football team. Please register early to ensure all products ordered arrive on time.
