Home Game Friday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m.

Hi guys,

The Bears fell to Worcester State last Saturday in a heartbreaker on Homecoming Day, 35-34. I’d like to thank all those who were able to show up to support the team. It was one of the largest crowds I’ve ever seen at a home game. This link goes into far more detail with a game recap: Football Stunned By Worcester State on Homecoming – Bridgewater St.

Despite the loss, the Bears still control their own destiny to win the league championship. The next huge hurdle will be this Friday 10/9, at home vs. undefeated Framingham State, with game time at 6 p.m. It would be great to see all those who can make it to the game.

As Coach Verria mentioned in his update last week, the Crimson Pride Challenge has begun. Donations to the football program must be made on the bsubears.com website, NOT the bearsfootballalumni.com site.

I’d like to thank all of you again for all the support you give to the football program.
